Goodday to everyone
As you all might have read, we started a contest a few weeks ago and its about Monsters. The replies we got on it were positive and inspiring, and we were looking forward to see the entries. But sadly it turned out wrong, we only got 1 serious entry, which kinda saddens me. I think maybe it was because of the holidays/summervacation that we didn't get any more entries, or maybe the theme isn't inspiring enough. Or perhaps the prizes aren't enough to draw attention. Either way we can either make long discussions about it or do something about it, and I myself are more a fan of the second suggestion.
Therefore I will enhance the deadline, giving the members a bit more time. If we don't get any more entries then so be it, at least we tried. I have decided to enhance the deadline about almost 2 months. The new deadline will beOctober 31th
And yes! I did it for a special reasons since it will be Halloween then, and with Halloween comes monsters and other creepy creatures. So you might get just a little more inspired to make something.
The judges are still the same people as well as those who are going to set up a prize.
will be the prizemakers
There will be giving out 3 Prizes
which will be posted here:
Jack skellington Popke
Rainbow Peep plushie
And since its a theme that is bright in variations, it should give everyone a good chance at creating a monster
Monsters can be creepy, scary, funny, loving, soft, cute, fat, thin, ugly, pretty... you name it! Every member
can submit their entry in the folder, and the limit is going to be set at 1 entry per member, otherwise it wouldn't be fair to others. So think well about your entry, since once its in the folder, that is your one and only entry. But has to be a Monster! Just keep that in mind.
Also all forms of Artistic art are accepted, such as Popkes, yarndolls, stringdolls, voodoodolls, Amigurumi, crochet, feltcreations, plushies, sockmonkeys, just take a look around in our gallery, there you'll find plenty of inspiration.
If you are unsure about your entry, send us a note.
If you think about making a stringdoll, but you are not sure how to do it, please watch this wonderful, detailed video made by our member youtu.be/or29Y8qsB3U
Well best of luck everyone!
